DevOps Engineer (Systems Administrator II)

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps engineer with a particular interest in system architecture, administration, and infrastructure development to build and maintain services, automation, and integrations to make our applications work better, faster, and easier.

About Us

We are a versatile DevOps team who work closely together with lots of mutual support. We work in a lot of different technology stacks and try to expand into new ones as the opportunity arises. To handle that complexity, we rely heavily on configuration-as-code methods with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible. We like open source, open APIs, and open-mindedness. We're looking for someone with a good understanding of modern system architecture components and how they all fit together. Business Process Analyst

Description

The Technology Resources team is seeking an experienced business process analyst to work within the Business Analysis & Solutions department. This team responds to business requests received by Technology Resources. This includes defining and documenting the current business processes, identifying and understanding the users’ needs, and analyzing, defining and documenting detailed business requirements. The goal of the Project Management team is to improve efficiency and optimize processes across campus, while also providing effective resolution to business problems. This team is an integral part of the Technology Resources service organization, providing support and services to a wide variety of departments across campus.

Duties

The business process analyst is responsible for the development of business solutions by improving business processes, outcomes, and systems. The candidate is also responsible for the definition, documentation and testing of various enterprise web applications and reporting solutions to optimize business processes allowing university departments to operate more effectively. The business analyst must have knowledge and experience in the areas of business process modeling and articulation, business application delivery, systems development, and system integration, and should have a broad exposure to coding concepts and database concepts related to product development. The ideal candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to manage client expectations and maintain excellent working relationships in an environment with high demand and rapid change. The employee needs to possess enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for timely and exceptional solutions delivery.
