  • Brightspace and Canvas sandbox access for faculty, staff and students.

Spring  

Summer

  • IT Project Team produces summary reports from all evaluation tools, and provides to LMS Advisory Committee
  • LMS Advisory Committee recommends LMS candidate to VPIT
  • VPIT recommends LMS candidate to TSUS Board of Regents
  • TSUS Board of Regents approval
  • VPIT announces approved LMS

Fall

  • IT Project Team implements new LMS
  • ITAC staff preparation support and system training
  • On-line course migration preparation
  • Public training available for faculty

2020

Spring

  • New faculty begin teaching in new LMS
  • Voluntary faculty migration of courses
  • ITAC migration support and training

Summer – Fall  

  • Requisite faculty migration of courses
  • ITAC faculty open training lab   

Fall

  • Sakai - no new site creation (read-only state)

2021

Spring – Fall

  • All courses taught in new LMS
  • Sakai archival access to course materials
  • Project site transition to new environment
