WinZIP archive program

WinZIP is a Windows archive program that can be used to compress and archive files into a single file.  The ZIP format is often used to distribute software and files in an efficient manner.

Technology Resources is pleased to provide Texas State faculty/staff users the ability to install WinZIP to their workstations across the Texas State network, at no charge to departments.

Licensed for on campus Texas State faculty/staff use only.

Prerequisites

  1. You will need a faculty/staff NetID and password.
  2. You will need to have administrator privileges to the computer. 
  3. Your computer must be a member of the Texas State (TXSTATE) domain. (Verify your computer's domain)
