Texas State is bringing you a new Student Information System (SIS)! Soon you will see new services in CatsWeb that will improve your experience at Texas State! The new SIS will provide both benefits and changes to semester registration, financial aid, advising, housing and other student transactions and needs. These new services are for all students attending Texas State in the fall 2011 semester.

Important Note: You will use the current CatsWeb services for anything related to the spring and summer 2011 semesters. You will use the new SIS services for the fall 2011 semester. Access all services (current and new) through the CatsWeb Student Services page.

First Group of New SIS Services

These new services are already available:
    • View fall 2011 undergraduate and graduate application status
    • View the list of documents you need to submit to be awarded financial aid

New SIS Services Coming Soon

The following new services will be offered this spring:
    • Advising and Degree Planning (March 2011)
    • Financial Aid Awards (April 2011)
    • Student Registration (April 2011)
    • Traffic and Parking (April 2011)

Please keep an eye out for additional communications from offices such as Financial Aid and Scholarships, Advising Centers, Residence Life and the Registrar’s Office. These messages may contain information regarding your individual access to the new system.
