About Us
The High Performance Computing Team is made up of scholars who are interested in utilizing HPC at Texas State. This group has been instrumental in defining the third party application needed to run its individual jobs. While in its infancy, the configuration and use of HPC resources will be self-governing. Tentatively, exclusive access to these services will be approved by a simple majority of the HPC team on a case by case basis.
The HPC technical team is comprised of technologists who are responsible for the acquisitions, configuration, and deployment of HPC platforms. Highly technical individuals interested in active participation should contact the technical group for inclusion into the tech group. The HPC Technical Team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the campus grid. The HPC technical team is appointed by and is under the supervision of the Director of Enterprise Systems; a unit of Technology Resources.
