In order to access another person's calendar or mailbox, you must have been granted permission to that calendar or mailbox by that person.
IMPORTANT: In order to access an Exchange shared mailbox, the manager of the shared mailbox must have granted you permission to it using the Manage Group Membership button on the Online Toolkit. If the shared mailbox has just recently been created, please wait at least two hours before you use these instructions to setup access to it.
You can access another calendar, mailbox or address book using Bobcatmail by appending the name of the user (or shared mailbox) to the end of the following URL as in:
https://synergy.txstate.edu/owa/Name of account@matrix.txstate.edu
For example, if you had been granted permission to view another person's calendar named wb1007, you would access that person's calendar using a web browser by typing in the address:
https://synergy.txstate.edu/owa/wb1007@matrix.txstate.edu
As another example, if you were granted permission to access a shared departmental mailbox named tsie, you would access that mailbox via a web browser using the address:
https://synergy.txstate.edu/owa/tsie@matrix.txstate.edu
IMPORTANT: You will login using your own NetID and password.
If you have not been granted permission, you will see your own Exchange mailbox instead. Check with the person who owns that resource (calendar, mailbox or address book) to verify that you have been granted permission to it.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or higher, you will be able to open another mailbox as follows:
