Technology Resources provides the Texas State community with a variety of services to allow you to communicate efficiently over the phone, over a high-speed ethernet connection whether in an office or a residence hall room, or from building to building by using a wireless connection.

Computer Services:

Wireless network	Laptop users can access the Internet while roaming from one location to another.
ResNet	On-campus residence hall residents have direct ethernet access to the Texas State network.
Dial-up modem service	Free dialup access to the Internet for Texas State users using a phone in the San Marcos area.
Remote Desktop	Faculty and staff can connect to their office computers remotely.

Phone Services:

Cell phone	Cell phone service for faculty/staff.
Voice conferencing	Have phone conferencing sessions.
TTY telephone	TTY telephone service.
Cable TV	Get cable TV installed.
800 Service	To request a 800 number for a department.
Voicemail	Voicemail for faculty/staff and for students living in a residence hall.
Voicemail Desktop messaging	Access your voicemail messages from your Windows computer or from the web.
Phone and data requests	Forms to request phone and data installation and repair service.
